Niger State governor, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu has urged Nigerians to rededicate themselves to peaceful coexistence, unity and socio-economic development of the country.
The governor who stated this yesterday as part of his message to the people of the state to mark democracy day, urged the people of Niger state in particular to continue to pray for the success of his administration.
While pledging to continue to work for the overall development of the state, Aliyu said that the government will not go back on its determination to transform the state along its vision 3:2020.
Aliyu who is also the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, said that the people should be more security conscious for the socio-economic growth of the state.
He said, “it’s democracy day. Let’s consolidate on the gains of democratic rule and rededicate ourselves to the pursuit of peace, unity and socio-economic development of our dear nation. Nigeria will surely be great”.
